JDPC Onitsha in collaboration with Development Initiative for Technology and Empowerment (DEV-ITEM) Marks UN International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Theme: ORANGE THE WORLD: Fund,Respond,Prevent,Collect.
Significant of the day was to raise awareness of various violence against women and Girls.
The Important need for sex education to both the girl and boy child.
Integration of men into the system,Value Orientation and Proper and Proactive Parenting.
We had representative from the CWO from the 6 regions, CMO, CYON,Laity Council and other individuals who are expected to carry out a step down awareness program to their various region and groups.
