mEETING Of jDPC Directors' / Coordinators' Meeting

The event of the JDPC Director’s / Coordinators’ Meeting for year 2022 was slated for the 25th to the 29th of October, 2022. The Meeting took place at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria Resource Centre, Abuja. 

The first day, 25th of October, was scheduled for the Arrival and Registration of Stakeholders, and stakeholders lodged at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria Resource Centre. 

On the day 2, Wednesday, 26th of October, the event commenced by 6:15am with the morning Mass at the chapel of the same venue.

During the meeting, Rev. Fr. Peter Audu gave the welcome address by welcoming the various Directors/Coordinators to the meeting. He thanked God for a safe trip to the event and hoped for fruitful deliberations.

The events of day ended with a dinner after the conclusion of the breakout session. The house welcomed the JDPC National Director/Secretary, Rev. Fr. Uchechukwu Obodoechina, who came in from his trip. Each group was advised to conclude their reports and forward for collation after dinner.

Day 3 started on a bright note with the Holy Mass, breakfast and opening prayer for the event of the day. The recap of the previous day’s activities was captured followed by the Address of the JDPC National Director/Secretary.  The director was pleased with the turn out of participants to the meeting regardless of the security challenges in the country. He commended their efforts and encouraged the directors to keep waxing strong in the activities of the JDPC in their respective provinces and dioceses. The meeting of the day accommodated zoom participants and during the group photographs which followed, the zoom participants also took a shot.
